The German Language Technology Specialist Linguatec and the Multilingual Interaction Technology and Evaluation Laboratory in the ICT of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Agree on an Intended Cooperation

The goal is joint research and development of new language technology solutions in NLP in order to improve the products and exploit the markets in this field.

The Multilingual Interaction Technology and Evaluation Laboratory in the Institute of Computing Technology (ICT) in Beijing is a leading research group in China in the field of Chinese Language Processing. It is part of the renowned Chinese Academy of Sciences, an independent organization whose about 100 top level research organizations specialize in the natural sciences and high technology.

Over 10 Years Language Technology Experience in Germany

The German language technology specialist has been driving forward the development of innovative language technology software for more than 10 years. With increasingly multilingual solutions Linguatec takes into account growing globalization and the necessity of international exchange. The language technology specialist from Munich first introduced itself to the Asian IT world at the CeBIT in Shanghai in September and attracted the attention of the public.

Promising Perspectives

The signing of this agreement is a basis for research cooperation in the field of nature language processing. With this partnership Linguatec establishes its position as a linguistic bridgehead to the Chinese market. The language technology specialist from Munich first introduced itself to the Asian IT world at the CeBIT in Shanghai in September. “This cooperation is a milestone for the relations between Europe and China.
